The 1960 wallcovering was replaced with new hand-painted wallcovering from France. The old Zolatone multi-color paint was removed from cabinet fronts, the door and walls.  All previously painted surfaces were repainted with a new color.  The exposed fluorescent light bulbs on the mirror were replaced with new light fixtures.  The old wall base was replaced with a more detailed wall base .  We preserved the post World War II sink and faucet, matching toilet, countertop and cabinet door handles due to their significance to the original design of the house.

The windows were replaced with operable windows and multi-framed transoms above.  The red painted tiles below the windows were replaced with painted wood.  The spot lights high up on the facade were removed and replaced with three lights over the sign. Planters were added to each side of the building and new signage was added.  The doors and the facade received new paint colors.

The elevated planter was removed and both staircases were demolished. The main staircase was reshaped, widened and lights were added to the steps, the second staircase was rebuilt with new materials.  The large porch received a new waterproof membrane and new Vermont Black slate tiles and the half-height front wall was lowered.  New custom designed stainless steel handrails, new lights and a new mailbox were installed.  New ground level planters were built and the facade received new paint.
